Many were likely hoping that the good news of the kingdom meant justice was about to be served and that those who had wronged them and mistreated them were about to get what they deserved. But Jesus says something that turns this expectation and attitude completely upside-down.
This is episode eight in our study of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, and today we are going to listen to what Jesus has to say about retaliation and willingly responding to injustice in love.
