Jesus tells this crowd of spiritual zeros that unless their righteousness exceeds that of the spiritual heroes of their day, they will not enter the kingdom of God. Why else would he tell this crowd that unless he thought it was possible?
This is our third episode in a series we’re doing on Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, and, and today we are going to look at Jesus’ perspective on the Old Testament and how he takes our understanding of righteousness to a whole new level.
